Creation 2022, fourth duo with Servane Guittier and Antoine Manceau, L'Empreinte (the imprint) is a dive into emotions. Surprise, laugh and tears coexist in a circular space, intimate.
A passionated by balance man who falters, a generous woman whom goodwill has to focus on her partner.
They tell us how sometimes, we build links together, and how sometimes, links are falling apart, memories are fading, making room for emptiness.
The duo weaves an intense story, with lot of humour, but also strong emotions, for a nearly mute show.
After ten years of playing with their clowns Bibeu and Humphrey, Servane Guittier and Antoine Manceau take off their red noses to visit new play modes, to pursue the aventure of the ring with new characters, still provided with their musical instruments.
An ephemeral community
L’Empreinte proposes to create an ephemeral community, where links are created, where a common reality is being lived, there, in the space of the show. We are together.
The circular, the relationship to the audience, the impromptu help of the public for the proper conduct of the show, the improvisation... everything is leading to the relationship and the sharing.
The music is at the center of the ring, the images are strong, the situations are clear and dramatic, the duo weaves step by step a story.
The show is taking place in a circular ring welcoming 118 persons, older than 12 years old.
