BIBEU ET HUMPHREY

Duet of musical clowns 

Bibeu and Humphrey are sensitive clowns, almost mute and therefore very talkative with their body… 

Firstly musicians, they are also acrobats, endearing, virtuosos, clumsy, illogical, moving, excessive,…

Punks and tender at the same time, Bibeu and Humphrey don’t tell a story, they simply live.

Surrounded by the audience, their awkwardnesses, greeds and other absurdities never divert them from their first aim : playing music. 

And that’s what they do, with brio, when they manage to do it!

Clarinets, musical saw, concertina, ukulele, accordion, tiny trumpet, singing and tap dancing give the musical colour, original and acoustic.

Without words, the show is a dive into the intimistic and musical universe of L’Attraction Céleste, all in proximity with the audience, all in roundness.

A circular tier

Here is defended the circular play, in a welcoming and lighting tier, in order to share the show as if it was a good meal, in order to, as nicely says Gilles Clément, "being human and knowing it together".

Gathered around the ring, we share the show, we laugh about clowns, we laugh about situations, we laugh about oneself…
